The UNDREST. brand is produced in our 8000 sq. ft atelier/warehouse located in Los Angeles, CA. UNDREST. is produced in the same manner as that of a true atelier, through a team of production sewers that are located steps away from the design room, and not thousands of miles away! It is modeled to be in the spirit of a “true” Atelier, where as in the days before mass overseas production became so prevalent, the designer thought up their creation and then had the garment patterned and sewn in the room next door. UNDREST. proudly supports, participates, and encourages “anti-child labor, sweatshop-free, made in the USA products.”

We recently had a lovely customer come in and purchase a pair of our La Botte Gardiane riding boots. She stopped by today to say hello and show us how amazing they look on her!

The lovely Tyler and Blair came into our store today and splurged on some AMAZING pieces for their fabulous day at the beach. Mimosa's and sunshine, can't go wrong with that combination!

Maria Paz Navales of Los Angeles–based Undrest puts a similar premium on the expertise of domestic workers. Undrest—which makes lingerie, loungewear and swimwear—is a vertically integrated manufacturer, she said. Launching in 2007, Navales hired away sewers, sample sewers, cutters, pattern makers, production managers and quality-control workers from her contractors in 2009 to start her own factory. "For me, producing domestically and in my own factory is good business sense but also speaks to my business philosophy. We’re a socially responsible company, and going overseas may make for a wider margin, but it would mean giving these jobs away."
